I bought these pants to go with the NZ top I already had, the red background beach bathers print. It matched great but I also found the pants very versatile with the rest of my summer wardrobe. It can be made dressy with a lacey top or black blouse. I love the drape of the fabric and the ease of care. Wish there were some side pockets as I love those in pants. Spare buttons sewn on the tag are a nice feature.
