WE'RE RE-THINKING THE WAY CLOTHES GET MADE.
We’re designing with more and more eco-friendly fabrics, re-evaluating how we produce existing favorites, and searching for gentler alternatives.
DYE DECISIONS
Coloring clothes after they’ve been cut and sewn doesn’t just add character, it uses less dye. We also look to use natural fibers, skipping the water-intensive dye process entirely.
THE LITTLE THINGS
Natural buttons, recycled zippers, organic fibers… the details matter.
We’re increasingly using responsibly sourced cotton that’s better for the environment and more equitable for the growers who produce it.
Many of our Mindfully Made pieces use Lenzing EcoVero™, an ultra-comfy, earth-conscious viscose that produces up to 50% fewer emissions and has 50% less water impact than cheaper rayons.
Our go-to denim is Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell, made with sustainably harvested wood fibers. All solvents used in the making process are recovered and reused in the next cycle.
OUR SUPPLIERS ARE JUST AS INVESTED IN CHANGE AS WE ARE.
Among our suppliers is one of the original members of The Fashion Pact, a global coalition committed to stopping global warming, restoring biodiversity, and protecting our oceans.
We're committed to avoiding products sourced from ancient and endangered forests, joining forces with other Canopy-affiliated brands to push suppliers towards less harmful options.
