SOCIAL MEDIA + PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST

The Social Media / Public Relations Specialist is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as you engage with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers.
An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers. The Social Media / Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for creating and distributing content across all our social media channels (examples include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest) to establish brand authority, and connect with consumers.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Build Brand Awareness

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals
  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation
  • Assist Retail and E-Commerce teams in building out the NIC+ZOE profile in-store and online
  • Connect with non-competing "influencers" to create mutually beneficial relationships, forge partnerships to exchange content
Engage With Customers

  • Concept, lead and manage all activations for social media and PR in conjunction with the Marketing team that build brand awareness and engage customers
  • Monitor the company’s social media accounts and interact with customers
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content
  • Generate multi-directional messages to engage consumers and generate interest


Social Media (Strategy/ Development/ Measure)

  • Develop reports on emerging social media trends
  • Measure performance and ROI and recommend changes
  • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
  • Create a regular publishing schedule
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
  • Promote content through social advertising
  • Own the execution of all tactical marketing for social and PR
  • Skillful understanding of what type of content works best on what platform, ability to optimize content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform.
  • Engage our audience through social media posts and interactions, be the expert who can take the NIC+ZOE brand and online presence to the next level.
  • General knowledge of design in order to create visually appealing graphics to coordinate with appropriate posts


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in social media management
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills
  • Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Facebook’s advertising platform is required
  • Strong communication skills, ability to convey ideas in a clear and precise way

PLANNING ASSISTANT

The Planning Assistant is an integral part of the Planning team at NIC+ZOE, reporting to the Inventory Planning Manager. In this role, you’ll participate in the preparation and execution of product buys for every new collection each season. This position provides support for an array of cross functional initiatives and requires interaction with key members of the organization in Product Development, Merchandising and Sales.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with production order entry and maintenance
  • Ensure orders are correct for fields including but not limited to price, factory, and customer shipping requirements
  • Communicate with partners overseas on orders and delivery
  • Gather necessary data to support fabric and replenishment projections
  • Support the buy process and prepare for the strategy review meeting with senior management
  • Maintain pricing charts by style and customer
  • Track item delivery and maintain recap charts, highlighting any potential delays
  • Monitor factory shipments and advise team of any shortages

STAFF ACCOUNTANT I

The Staff Accountant will be an integral member of the accounting/finance function by assisting the Controller in managing daily operations of our growing business. This position will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable, to financial statement preparation and analysis. This is a new position at NIC+ZOE with strong potential for growth and high visibility to all departments in the company.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable – will own entire process
  • Receiving, coding, and entering all invoices and expense reports into accounting system
  • Managing DPO and scheduling payments
  • Processing, reconciling, and archiving corporate credit card statements
  • Maintaining W9’s for all vendors and issuing 1099’s yearly

Cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain cash forecast and monitor level of cash for recommendation on utilizing credit line
  • Monitor Letter of Credit activity

  • Maintaining schedules to support monthly financial reports
  • Partnering with Direct Retail division to monitor gift card activity and deferred revenue accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules and collaborate with Direct Retail division to track capex spending.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparation
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects as requested by Controller

STAFF ACCOUNTANT II

The Staff Accountant will be an integral member of the accounting/finance function by assisting the Controller in managing the operations for our growing direct to consumer business. Duties include maintenance of monthly accounts, creation and processing of journal entries, and assisting in the monthly closing process as it pertains to our direct sales division. This is a new position at NIC+ZOE with strong potential for growth and high visibility to all departments in the company.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for the following:
    • Bank and credit card transactions including chargebacks and account transfers
    • Sales Audit for direct channels
    • Inventory
  • Maintain schedules to support monthly financial reports
  • Collaborating with Retail Operations to coordinate monthly cycle counts.
  • Partnering with Retail Operations and Merchandising department to manage the reorder and return process for our direct channels
  • Coordinating with the Distribution Center and Merchandising departments for merchandise drop shipped at retail locations
  • Track and maintain lease commitment schedules and percentage rent for retail locations
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining item master in Point of Sale system
  • Partnering with Retail Operations on store buildouts by providing them detailed budget vs actual information and coordinating set up of new merchant accounts

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and exceed daily store sales and profit goals
  • Analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment, communicating sell through, stock levels, customer feedback and opportunities to increase sales to corporate office
